For some inexplicable reason, the photos in my digital camera are refusing to upload to my desktop.  Naturally, just when I had a wierd photo of my kitten's extremely bushy tail that I needed to share with you ASAP. We shall see if I can fix the problem somehow...meanwhile, why don't you all just talk amongst yourselves.

A quiet and quite freezing cold weekend around here. The Biography Channel had a Poirot marathon yesterday that was, appropriately enough, "to die for"! Aside from that, I seem to have spent most of the weekend in the kitchen cooking. Sweet & sour cabbage, homemade mac & cheese, cottage fried potatoes, ham steak, sausages, homemade applesauce, roasted fennel with carrots, pots au creme--the list goes on! And somehow we are not fat!
