It includes my original essay “Goodbye to the Gaiety." It's a non-erotic essay about my first marriage, detailing the many joys and happy surprises that go hand in hand with being married to a severely closeted gay guy who had sex periodically with my severely un-closeted gay best friend and how both men eventually died from AIDS.
