Some news from others
Okay. News from others goes like this:
NYC-base writer/poet Thaddeus Rutkowski announces:
"Two of my sex-fiend monologues, 'the mad capper' and 'gag kisses,' appear on the home page of the Clean Sheets Erotica Magazine, at http://www.cleansheets.com. the pieces, written under the pen name Rusty Cuffs, will be on the front page under 'Exotica' for three more weeks, then will be in the archives."
This next piece is not writing-related, but it is astonishing enough to share regardless. It comes from Gary in Long Island and it's a link to a NY Times article about the astronomical rent hikes over in Stuy Town and Peter Cooper Village. I used to know a lot of folks who lived over there. It is so sad what is happening now. Read it here if you dare!
NYC-base writer/editor/ and a bunch of other cool stuff, Rachel Kramer Bussel, announces:
"Here are 5 questions and my very long answers about life after getting fired by The Village Voice." [A really unexpected and perplexing turn of events!--Ed.]
Okay. That's it for news from others. My own news, as you can surmise, is that I have nothing but snow here for as far as the eye can see and I couldn't be happier! Yay!
I am almost back to normal around here, schedule-wise, and will, I hope, make some serious progress on the new book proposal--which was supposed to be finished by February 1st but we shall see how that goes.
Now that I am no longer on blogger, I will be able to regale you with those much-promised photos!! We had a red-headed woodpecker over the weekend. Didn't get a photo of that but thought you might like to know any way...I spend a lot of time staring out my many windows at all the activity in the backyard. What an exciting life, huh? Actually, it kinda is!
Okay, on that note, I have to get my day underway over here. Thanks for visiting gang!
